" Journal of Studies in Public Service Administration" is an open-access scientific journal (Double-blind peer-reviewed) published by the public administration department in the faculty of Management and Accounting at Allameh Tabataba'i University as a prominent institution in humanities and social sciences and has been licensed by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance since 2023. The primary focus of this journal is on public services, public value, public service management, public interest, public governance, and theories of public administration. Public service plays a crucial role in the governmental administrative system, emphasizing the need for services prioritizing society, citizens, and civil society. In this context, the primary responsibility of government employees is to assist citizens in expressing and fulfilling public interests rather than exerting control or guidance over society.

This journal publishes conceptual and applied research articles in Persian, with abstracts in English. The articles are available electronically and, similar to other journals of Allameh Tabataba'i University, each article is assigned a unique identifier (DOI) for easy identification and search purposes. The journal strictly adheres to ethical rules in publications, so it operates following the laws set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the law's executive regulations on preventing and confronting scientific work plagiarism. In order to ensure originality, the journal employs the Samim Noor similarity system to check for plagiarism, accepting articles with a maximum similarity of 15%.
